Here is sad and urgent information about the incredible migrating Monarch Butterfly, whose future survival–primarily because of habitat and food source destruction, as well as harmful pesticides–is severely threatened.  These are regular California visitors on their way to a particular mountain area in Mexico.  They feed exclusively on milkweed plants which are rapidly disappearing.
